I have a mailbox on an Exchange 2010 SP2 database. There are no other mailboxes on this database and the mailbox is intended for use by an application that automatically sends email once a sale is complete. I would like to forward NDRs returning to this mailbox to a mail enabled public folder that can be accessed by designated customer service staff.
1. Can I configure YesNDR to forward NDRs for this single mailbox or are all NDRs for all mailboxes forwarded?
2. Will YesNDR forward non NDR messages and can I select which type of messages are forwarded and which are not?
3. Does YesNDR have reporting capabilities?
4. I've read that YesNDR is very easy to use. Where can I find a Setup, Admin or User Guide for YesNDR to get an idea of the configurable options?

Hello Fabian,

Thank you for contacting YesNDR support.

With respect to your questions please find bellow our comments:

Q: Can I configure YesNDR to forward NDRs for this single mailbox or are all NDRs for all mailboxes forwarded?

A: YesNDR will forward all NDRs generated by exchange to the designated email address. YesNDR will also give you the option to include the original message that generated the NDR in the notification sent back to either the Public Folder or the “catch all” email address. Further processing can be done using rules on NDR metadata.

Q: Will YesNDR forward non NDR messages and can I select which type of messages are forwarded and which are not?

A: YesNDR will only forward NDRs to the “catch all” email address that are generated by Exchange Server. You may turn on and off this feature. You may use Exchange transport rules for forwarding other messages automatically.

Q: Does YesNDR have reporting capabilities?

A: No, YesNDR will not provide any reporting or logging. This has been by design for performance reasons. Our aim is to minimize the footprint of YesNDR so as to maximize the performance of Exchange Server.

Q: I've read that YesNDR is very easy to use. Where can I find a Setup, Admin or User Guide for YesNDR to get an idea of the configurable options?

A: Please feel free to download the evaluation version and try it for yourself. You may find the installation file along with all documentation at the following link: http://www.iqglobe.com/downloadtrial.aspx

Please contact us should you need any further information.

Best regards,
