Yvonne update

Dear Friends,
I just wanted to give you an update on me. Thank you so much for all
of your calls, notes and love and support. It means so much to me. I
am having lumpectomy surgery on Thursday, at noon . It could change
but that is the time for now. I am learning what it is like to be a
patient and to let others do things for me...which does not come
easy, but certainly what I can learn about. My parents are here which
is a wonderful thing. I have plenty of support through the weekend and
hope to be moving about next week and back in the saddle the following
week if all goes well. Someone will send a note after my surgery to
share the results. For now, rest asured I am putting all of my energy
around navigating this and getting on with life.I don't expect to have
company for a few days after surgery and will pick up email as I am
able, so don't worry if you don't hear right back from me. Thankyou
for your love, support and prayers.

i know you and Arthur want to come on Thursday, however I do think it
is probably best to have you both the following week when I can enjoy
a meal and have a glass of wine with you both and enjoy your company.

( I recall feeling that way myself following my own past "medical
events" ).
