JIPMER Entrance Exam 2014 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) for admission to MBBS course for the academic 2014 session.
The aspirants who wish to fill JIPMER MBBS 2014 application form must have following eligibility criteria:
Nationality: Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply
Qualification: Must have passed / appeared for HSC (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English / Equivalent
Age: Candidates must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years on or before 31st Dec 2014 i.e., must have been born on or before 01st Jan 1998
The exam will comprise of only multiple choice questions. All the questions asked will be based on the syllabus of Class XI and XII. The total number of multiple choice questions is 200, divided amongstEnglish, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
JIPMER exam question test’s each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marks for wrong answers. The exam duration is two hours.
Mark Distribution will be as follows:
Physics: 40
Chemistry: 40
English: 40
Botany: 40
Zoology: 40
The exam will be conducted across 36 centres nationwide.
North Zone (7 Cities): Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Meerut
South Zone (17 Cities): Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Mysore, Nagercoil, Namakkal, Puducherry, Salem, Tirunelveli, Thiruvannamalai, Trichy, Trivandrum, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam
East Zone (8 Cities): Asansol, Bhubaneswar, Durgapur, Guwahati, Hooghly, Howrah, Kalyani, Kolkata
West Zone: (4 Cities): Bhopal, Gandhi Nagar, Mumbai, Pune
Commencement of Online Registration: March 19, 2014 (11.00 a.m.)
Close of Registration: May 02, 2014 (16.30 hrs)
Entrance Exam: June 08, 2014 (10.00 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.)
