Dear friends,
As part of our commitment to increasing member involvement in GEN Europe, and building an organisation that truly represents our members, we have for some time been working with the Council on new ways to respond to the needs of ecovillagers, and to use the collective wisdom of this rich, diverse and growing network in service to our shared vision.
In consultation with the National Networks, we heard a need from the members for new ways to deepen involvement in GEN Europe, access opportunities, network with members in different countries, learn and skill-share. So we're now excited to share this invitation with you: to join a GEN Europe working group!
We invite members to join working groups around key themes for GEN Europe to forge deeper connections with the network and collaborate on exciting projects to help our movement grow. Some groups have already been operating in more or less formal ways around a particular need, while others have just started and are setting their vision and purpose - so now is a great time to get involved! There are working groups growing across all aspects of the organisation, so there are many chances to share your skills in...
Membership of the groups is on a voluntary basis and offers the
chance to be part of shaping and delivering our strategy. Each
group will have a GEN Europe staff and council member attached to
it. Availability, skill-set and commitment varies across groups,
so read more about each working group and find out who to contact
to get involved here.
Please share within your communities and do consider joining in -
if you haven't been involved deeply with GEN Europe before, now's
the time!
We hope to connect with you in a working group soon!
Warm regards,
Fran and the whole GEN Europe staff and Council |
