Please follow the rules and refrain from posting topics that are not of general interest to the RYEP. Private topics should be kept among the involved individuals and districts.

The following guidelines apply:

Only Rotarians who are interested in the Youth Exchange program will be admitted. This will be verified by the moderator.
English is the language for Yeotalk.
All messages should be signed, indicating the district, country, and position of the sender.
Yeotalk should not be used for personal subjects, protests, offensive statements, self-promotion, selling or marketing products, spreading chains or rumors, or for ideological discussions, politics, religion or prejudices that do not directly affect the YEP.
Yeotalk may be used to seek new exchange partners, seek and offer placements, request and offer aid in emergency situations, request and offer help for students in transit, propose ideas for discussion, present projects of common interest, request and offer suggestions, make friends, and obtain and offer files - Up and Download - of YEP interest.
If an individual is having difficulties within their district or multi-district, the discussions should remain within their specific organization and not be brought to this group for support or interference.
When discussing cases, the case should remain anonymous and only be used to illustrate or discuss principles or rules. Students' names should not be used in relation to complaints, rule violations, etc.
When starting a new topic of conversation, start a new email message. Do not add it to an existing "string" of email on another topic.
When replying to a specific individual's request for information or concern, first consider if you want your response to go to everyone in the discussion group or just to that person. If you want to respond only to an individual, type in their private email address in your response. Otherwise, a response just for one will be mailed to every member of the group.
Use Yeotalk as often as you wish, have a great time helping improve Rotary Youth Exchange, and remember the Four-Way Test.
