17th Birthday Bike Sale

May means Bike Month, and Bike Month means marking the time here at the Yellow Bike Project. Even though YBP’s first release of Yellow Bikes took place in January, May has traditionally been when we make the cake and throw the annual party. YBP turns 17 this year, while also marking four years in our Webberville home. We’ve heard it’s better to give than to receive, so this Saturday, May 17th, we’re celebrating with a sale: 10% off all sale bikes! We’ve got a wide range of rides, all refurbished by our staff mechanics. Come on down between 11am and 6pm to blow out some candles and pedal out on what you’ve been wishing for.

Bike to Work Day

For those of you already possessing the two wheels of your dreams, Friday’s the day for some treats. Friday, May 16th, Bike to Work Day means the fuel for your person-powered commute comes free! Stop by one or all of the morning and evening Bike to Work stations and reward yourself with a tasty pastry or a cold beverage. Bike to work everyday? Old friend getting lonely in the garage? Either way, spin those legs so you don’t miss out.

9th Street Schoolhouse Move-by-Bike

Our friends at the 9th Street Schoolhouse are on the move, and they need your legs. Join them on Sunday, June 1st at 2006 E. 9th St., treat yourself to some coffee and doughnuts, then load up supplies at 9am sharp for a ride to their new digs on Red River.
