Dear All,

Please be informed that over last 4 years, the authority has sent CHECKLIST LETTER (informing allottee that his/her plot is ready and requesting the allottee to execute and register the lease deed), to thousands of allottees... many have already registered their Lease Deed, while others still have to do the needful. 

In the Checklist letter, authority had provided 180 days to do the needful. But many allottees have failed to execute and register their Lease Deed in time. The deadline of 31 August 2021 is for such allottees.

Over the years, the authority provided many - 3 months extensions - for the last date. But now, authority is sticking to last date of 31 August 2021 and will not give anymore extension to those who received their CHECKLIST LETTER more than 180 days ago.

So now, only 4 more days are left for such allottees. 

Thereafter, the authority will impose late fine and charge penal charges (1% of Allotment Rate x Plot Size) for every quarter (for the first year).

The details and calculation of late payment amounts (per quarter, for the first year), are given below:

₹ 4750 x 1% = ₹ 47.50 per sq mtr

(1) 300 sq mtr x ₹ 47.50 = ₹ 14,250 per quarter 

(2) 500 sq mtr x ₹ 47.50 = ₹ 23,750 per quarter

(3) 1,000 sq mtr x ₹ 47.50 = ₹ 47,500 per quarter

(4) 2,000 sq mtr x ₹ 47.50 = ₹ 95,000 per quarter

(5) 4,000 sq mtr x ₹ 47.50 = ₹ 1,90,000 per quarter

Please Note: These penalty amounts are only for those allottees who have recieved checklist letter and failed to execute and register lease deed till 31 August 2021. 

Those who haven't recieved the checklist letter or those who have recieved checklist letter but their 180 days aren't finished, need not worry as the above condition doesn't apply on them.

Hi Safal,

The penalty mentioned is not correct I suppose. It is 1% of Allotment rate per year for first year.

So, penalty interest of 300sqm plot z Rs 14,250 for first year which comes to nearly Rs3560 per quarter.

Very strange.

Anyway, please get your information checked with the authority. Your information is incorrect and wrong. 

In future, please don't post wrong information. It misguides people and results in financial losses.
