Dear All,
 
Please find attached a copy of newspaper advertisement in Times of India, Delhi edition, by Yamuna Expressway Authority, regarding handing over of 4317 plots by October 2018, 5008 plots by December 2018 and 5128 plots by March 2019. That is total of 14,453 plots by March 2019. In the same advertisement, the authority also claims that it has already provided possession of over 896 plots to the allottees.
 
Going by past experience and considering the ground reality, I believe the authority is wrong on all claims:
 
Firstly, the claim of handing over POSSESSION of 896 plots is faulty. It is clearly not the case. The authority may have sent letters to 896 allottees for executing the lease deed (which I greatly doubt, but in absence of confirm / official figures, cannot refute at this point of time). But it has certainly not handed over the possession of 896 plots. So, in essence, advertising POSSESSION OF PLOTS GIVEN EARLIER = 896 is a complete lie. Secondly, the authority is absolutely in no position of providing possession of 4317 plots to the allottees by October 2018, on top of 896 plots already handed over before October 2018 (as claimed) . I can stick my neck out on this. Thirdly, authority’s claim that it is going to hand over of 5008 plots to the allottees in December 2018, on top of 896 (as claimed) and 4317 plots already handed over by October 2018 (as promised), is impossible to achieve. The work has not even started in most of the pockets / blocks, as claimed in the advertisement. Lastly, given that the authority will not be able to deliver the number of plots that they claim they will give to allottees, in October 2018 and December 208, I honestly believe the authority will be in no position, whatsoever, to deliver the rest of 5128 plots in March 2018.
 
In short, I’d say that this is yet another empty claim, more like hawai vada, by the authority. Even if the work in all the pockets / blocks were to start today and the officials work extremely hard, with 100% honesty, they would still require, at least, 6 more months to complete the final figure of 14453. Anyway, I’m going to write to the Chairman / CEO today itself as President of YERWA, requesting details of 896 plots that they claim to have handed over to the allottees. As a backup, for often the authority doesn't bother replying to tough questions, I shall back the letter with RTI.
 
More on this issue when I have further information.

Let us hope that will try to deliver but, what about remaining 6000 ? Please ask the authority about them also.

Hi

Its a total lie , but I could not understand the genesis of this advertisement.
Is ita PR exercise of authority ?
OR Authority is coming up with some new plot / flat scheme.
In future if Authority comes up new plot / flat scheme we will ask for a stay on authorities scheme against default of already promised plots.
This will hit them hardly

I had visited Sector 18 and 20 on 30th July and after observation at the site, it look like, work started at fea area only(few street light, few road ) and  will take atleast 1-1.5 year to give possession. But today newpaper advertiment claim poseesion in Oct-18,dec -18 and march-19. Based on Site observation , It is Impossible to complete the task or Quality will be very Poor due to time pressure.

We all should focuse on benefit of " Zero Period Policy" . I have seen some letter from Yamuna authority to Allotte, they are getting benefit of appro. 
1.4 lacs(interest remove from Oct/2013 to Oct/2016) and this amount will be adjusted in Extra Compansation-Oct/18 and April/19 ,lease amount.. etc)

We all should raise voice for " Stamp duty" rate  . If we want to do registry ,Stamp duty rate should be same as During 2013 not as in 2018/2019 .

can anyone explain the reason.
Is YEIDA under pressure and is it working ?

Everyone should avail zero benefits. 
It's substantial . Even though yea is taking too long ,as I didn't got it till now  whereas I had applied in Feb 18.

Mr. Mehla,

Zero Period in its current shape and form is a great trick being played by the authority. Your money will not be returned. It will remain with the authority and the authority will continue to earn interest on it.

The said amount will be adjusted against your lease rent, as and when the authority invites you to execute the lease deed.

The greatest trick is to force allottees to sign the affidavit for availing the zero period. Please read it carefully.

I have been contacted by a lawyer and he mentioned that he will help in submitting the documents with authority and adjusting the zero period interest amount and asking for 10000 under table payment to authority. And the documents does not have any such clause in affidavit.
Do u advise to pay this amount?

Dear Safal ji,

Sorry for bothering you but can you please help me with below.
have been alloted plot # 159 in Sector 2(A). In the possession schedule, plot #158 is there but not 159? Whether authority has some other intention as 159 is corner plot?

Amit Ji,

I suggest following to do. since YEIDA authority is delayed on almost all counts.

a. Move application by yourself.
b. Obtain counter receipt from front desk.
c. Do some follow up with property department
d. Asses when a RESPONSE expected from YEIDA

Just ensure, you act (in time) as per authority intimations.
Engaging a lawyer may be useful, only when lease deed intimations arrive from authority.

Possession of over 15,000 plots stuck since 2009 to be handed to owners soon: YEIDA
       
Noida, Sep 19 

The Yamuna Expressway Authority will soon begin handing over to the owners the possession of over 15,000 residential plots which were allotted to them in 2009, officials said Wednesday.

Possession on 7,330 plots in Sector 18 and 8,019 plots in Sector 20, under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area, would begin from October and continue till March 2019, they said.

A total of 22,532 plots were allotted to people under the Residential Plot Scheme 1 (RPS 1) in 2009, and legal hassles have been cleared for 15,349 plots, a senior YEIDA official said.

"Due to property disputes and court cases, the work on 15,349 plots was in limbo since 2009. Now, with all obstacles cleared, the possession could be made soon. Work is underway on the basic infrastructure including roads, sewer and drainage system besides demarcation in the residential plots," he told Wednesday.

The size of the plots ranges from 120 sq metres to 4,000 sq metres and were allotted to beneficiaries in 2009. According to the official, the cost of land has grown three times since then.

"The circle rate in 2009 was Rs 4,700 per sq metre and in 2018 it is Rs 15,500 per sq metre," the official said.

Also, the authority will soon begin handing over the possession of 1,800 plots that were allotted to people under the Residential Plot Scheme 2 (RPS-2) in 2015.

These plots were scheduled to be handover to owners in 2019 but several of them are on verge of completion so their possession can be made by this year end. "By December end, 667 plots allotted under the RPS-2 will be ready for possession," the official said. KIS IJT
