Arnab,
I need one help from you. This is the eligibility guideline to apply for flat in GDA scheme.

"The applicant or his/her family (Family means
applicente, his wife / her husband & minor children)
must not own any residential plot / house in any colony
developed by Development Authority. Housing Board,
Improvement trust, any local body, co-operative
Society with in National Capital Region. He/She must
also not hold more than one plot/house developed by
above said bodies in any other city/town of U.P.)
"

My question is, "if I can apply or not as I am allottee in YEIDA".

Regards,

This is UP, go and apply. Nobody is going to check it. Nice and law abiding people like you ask these questions and investors go and apply 10 forms in the name of their family members and sometimes those family member dont know that a form has been filled with their name :-)

If you are interested, apply on the name of your wife, any other family member. It will not matter. Even in YEIDA, peole for 3 allotments and none of them were cancelled. Jab Raja aisa ho to praja bhi kya kare.

UP is getting worse and worse, even worse than Bihar and it surely need good Governance like Modi or Nitish Kumar to bring it back on track.

If you are applying for Madhuban / Bapudham GDA Scheme, which states
the following:
---------------------------------
The applicant or his / her family (Family means
applicant, his wife/her husband & minor
children) must not own any residential flat in
any colony developed by Development
Authority, Housing Board, Improvement trust,
any local body, co-operative society within
National Capital Region. He/she must also not
hold more than one flat developed by above
said bodies in any other city/town of U.P.
-----------------------------------
The hindi version in the brochure mentions both flat and house.
----------------------------------------
http://www.gdaghaziabad.com/download/Brochure_Scheme%20_Code-804.pdf

Going by the English version of eligibility criteria, YEIDA plot
owners can apply as per my understanding.

Thanks Vikram for advice & comments. You are right, Now I have made my
mind to go ahead. Thanks Arnab for your insight into these matters.
Actually I am applying for Indirapuram MIG flat scheme but eligibility
rules are same for all schemes, it is just copy & paste, nothing else.
Manmeet, I don't know about Madhuban Bapudham scheme prospects. If you
are applying just to sell at premium immediately after allotment, it
is better to do some home work. My case is different. Actually I need
one ready to move in apartment in Indirapuram to make it my vaccation
house so that my children can live with their grandparents in summer &
winter vaccations. There are only 8 apartments on offer, still I want
to take chance because of easy payment terms of Authority. I shall not
need to finance from bank & would avoid hassles of paperwork. If not
allotted, I would go for old flat in the area with bank finance in
March 2011.
I don't think if there is any scheme in this area where you can sell
on allotment except one EWS scheme in Pratap Vihar. You can check this
on home page of GDA site. Area is 31.5 sq mtr having 2 small rooms,
balcony, kitchen, bath, toilet, small store too with 100% carpet area
near Santosh Medical College or NH 24. Cost is Rs 4 lakhs, flats are
almost ready. Market price is more than Rs 7-8 lakhs. But this is not
a big deal & better not to usurp the rights of weaker sections. One
has to attach income certificate from SDM to apply in this.

Hi Rajesh,

65% is reserved for all catagories and 35 % reseved for General catagory so you left with 3 flats in Indirapuram.

changes are very less but still u can try your luck

regards,

Pradeep,
Yes, I know & I am not bothered about allotment as I know that I have
to buy this from secondary market in March 2011 or Dec 2010 whenever I
get leave. Since I have enough time so taking chance.
