Write a application for surrender the plot..paste your photo and cross sign photo and application. Attach cancel cheque, application id details and deposit these documents in CR section of yamuna expressway authority, greater noida.. also carry 1 photocopy of application with you for your return receipt from authority.

On surrender of plot , what is the amount , the authority will deduct and will they pay any interest also. Kindly also advise whether  it is worthwhile to surrender the plot vis a vis resale price in the open market.

This is quite hot topic currently for all folks who got plot in RPS-01/2018 scheme that whether we should surrender and buy from open market.
One factor apart from premium amount calculation, for 2009 scheme, don't you have to construct something soon otherwise penalities would apply.
For 2018 scheme, I think it would give you longer time for construction.
Also premium amount for 2009 alloted plots would certainily go up as possession letter are coming so difference would definitely reduce in short term.
Just want to share my thoughts.

The penalty for not constructing in % term is same for all scheme though in absolute figure terms it's almost 1/3 for 2009bscheme as it is linked with allotment rate.

Exactly everyone must be pondering on merit  in buying  thru the 2018 draw vs resale of the plots from 2009 scheme. Moreover the plots offered in the 2009 scheme are bigger in size and smallest being 300 metres. Not sure how many who are allotted under 200 metre would be willing to buy bigger plots from resale.

Why do you want to surrender the plot ? Is the market rate lesser than the rate set by YEIDA ?

Dear Vidhu,

That is not correct. Everyone will get 2 years to construct.

Secondly, the value of constructed / completed plots / houses appriciated faster, for they become eligible for home loan at cheaper interest rates.

Hi Safal Jee - My main reason for longer term for 2018 plot was in refer to fact that this will take time to get possesion for 2018 plots vs 2009 plots so longer time for someone like me who is looking purely at long term investment.

also not sure about current premium rate for 2009 plots.

Do we have any idea about premium rate for 2009 plots that got possession from YEIDA?
