Infosys campus on Yamuna Expressway

Hey,

I had visited Jaypee sports city over the weekend. I must say it looks very impressive. One of the guys (a employee of Jaypee perhaps) mentioned that Infosys has bought a huge chunk of land on Yamuna Expressway. Now I know this could all turn out to be just another ploy being used to sell land. But just wanted to check with people here if they have heard anything of the sort?

Infosys was offered 100 Acres of land in Tech zone, Greater Noida (close to NIIT Building) by the GNIDA  however Infosys did not take it.
You will also hear from other builders advertisements claiming Microsoft / IBM as their future tenants. Take all these claims with a big spoon of salt.

To me sector 148 (or any other sector directly on expressway) seems more probable for two reasons first the place is more suited for any s/w company like infy as compared to 85 which is more like an industrial sector second because of  better connectivity in future as compared to inner sectors like sector 85

Hi,

As I read yesterday's TOI-Bangalore edition, Infy is going to setup it's own Noida Campus in Sector-85, Noida with over 300000 sq. mtr. total area of plot. It is cleared and sanctioned after the joint discussion made with all the 3 authorities in Gautam Buddh Nagar i.e. Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Authority.
