I visited authority and enquired about refund of 2018 scheme last week. Authority people told me  they have already issued instructions to their banker to refund the amount of unsuccessful applicants. He said we should get it within 10/15 days.

Kindly Don't panic. You can read sec 7 point (ii) of RRPS/2018 brochure. Snippet of that I have attached as an image. Yeida will return the money within 12 months without any interest. Interest of4% will only be applicable if refund time exceeds 12months.

Got an email from ICICI bank regarding the AWB number of the refund cheque

Hi Amardeep,

To address your query, YEIDA has sent a pay order thru ICICI Bank as a refund amount for unsuccessful applications.

You need to just deposit the same in your bank account.

Same here , it was sent from ICICI bank Delhi to ICICI bank greater Noida , in between i was getting sms for all unsuccessful delivery attempts( though it was not trying to deliver to me) , finally i thought cheque is with blue dart in greater Noida , while visiting  blue dart, i got to know it is received by ICICI bank greater Noida , i am planning to call bank today.
