Dear Sir,
I can confirm that I didn’t pay single penny under the table when same was asked openly by YEIDA Property Department persons (Rs. 300/sqm). I just thought why should we encourage corruption and make life difficult for us and next generation. If Authority persons are underpaid (and I feel so for contract workers) then they can raise their voice on respective platform and possibly can get support of public if genuine.
I sat there multiple times to get ATL done even when YEIDA Property department persons were expert in removing some papers from my file and Account Dept was not clearing already made payment few weeks back that time. I then escalated matter to CEO, Chairman and CMO level by detailed emails, twitter accounts and it helped. Fortunately Mr. CEO of YEIDA took note of complaint, called up officials on phone, and asked Accounts and Property Department to get file moving if all in place per system or process.
While it can be open truth to see deep rooted corruption in Development Authorities but can’t we get our work done following system or laid down processes. This could be same corruption delaying plots possession to all the allotees.
A request, if you can afford to spend some time to avoid contribution to corruption then please don't bribe. Govt officials or politicians would not change until we put in our side of efforts.
