Master plan 2031 for the proposed cities on the sides of the Yamuna
Expressway has been made. City till Jewar has been proposed for the
first stage of the master plan whereas for the second, a new city till
Agra has been proposed. This master plan is also proposed to bring
homogeneity in Noida and Greater Noida.

According to this plan, 25 per cent space has been kept for the
greenery, which is 22 per cent in Noida and Greater Noida. Special
development zone (SDZ) on the sides of the Yamuna Expressway was
earlier proposed in the master plan but now, like Noida and Greater
Noida, commercial, industrial, institutional and IT hub has been
proposed. Master plan is avoiding the entrance of the villages along
with rivers and greener areas. Provision of the roads has been made
for better connectivity with other cities.

Phase-1 of Master Plan includes 171 villages - 131 villages of
Gautambhudh Nagar and 40 villages of the Bulandshahr. It also includes
International airport and Aviation hub on the 10,000 hectare land.
Metro connectivity to Jewar has also been proposed in this plan.

To seek suggestions and complaints from the general public, the
authority office has pasted the outline of the master plan.

Official sources of the authority have said that suggestions and
complaints have been sought from the public till 14th March.
Thereafter, master plan will be sent to the government post
incorporating those suggestions and complaints. Once the plan gets
acceptance by the government, it will get its final touch.
