Hello Everyone,

I am spearheading the comeback of YEGRB, the Edmonton Ruby Meetup! Step one is finding out who is interested in helping out, because I can’t do this alone :)

Help can come in many forms large and small. It could be arranging food, or just picking it up on the night. It could be finding a speaker or presenting something of your own. It can even just be supporting others with getting things done when life gets in the way. If we spread the load then no one will be overburdened and we can make this sustainable and enjoyable in the long term.

I would like to establish a dedicated channel on the Dev Edmonton slack for hashing out the details, and an Airtable database we can all use to track speakers, tasks etc.

I have a very basic Google Form to kick things off: https://goo.gl/forms/uHIHUnnpBUHKXv2v1

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! Thank you!

Hey Alan,

Great that you've decided to bring this group back to life. Unfortunately/fortunately, depends how you look at it, I've moved to Kelowna so won't be able to partake in the group anymore.

Feel free to take me off the mailing list. All the best!

Rafal
