Y12 Norwegian Wood - Extracts from the Novel

Hello Y12, 

As discussed, here are the passages that I handed out to some of you in class on Tuesday.

Apologies that it took a while for me to work out how to attach these to a google group post.

For Tuesday's class, please could you: 

a) Open the doc, read the question and annotate the passages in light of the techniques and cultural contexts, that we discussed in class. (As the passages are actually pictures taken from Kindle, you might need to make notes in a separate document.)

b) As an optional extension, see if you can think of any other features of the language, or any other cultural contexts, that are important to understand these extracts.

We'll feed back on this in Tuesday's class.
