Although there was some good knowledge of the text and the social context around it, the writing was well below A-Level standard.
The main problems were spelling and phrasing.
Action:
1. Create a Google Document entitled 'Spelling' and add common spelling mistakes. Post the doc here:
2. Create a Google Document entitled 'essay phrases' and start to add to it. Find examples of good writing and pick out examples of good literature analysis.

Homework for next week:
1. Find more essays on Frankenstein and add more phrases to your 'new essay phrases' document.
2. Post them in the topic here, and read everyone elses phrases.
3. Re-write your essay adding new essay phrases you have learned and corrected spelling mistakes. (post the essays in this topic.)
4. Read up to and including Chapter 13 or next Tuesday.
