Dear Friends,

A student of our college is in need of help for the liver transplant surgery of his brother. We have received the mail from our student's executive committee.


Dear Friends, 
         This is Jyoti Baraskar from MMM (Batch- I). My younger brother Pranay (Age 22yrs) has been diagnosed with a very rare enstage chronic liver disease called Budd-chiari Syndrome and the only possible cure for it is a Liver Transplant. However, it is not possible to perform this surgery in mumbai ( the doctors in mumbai say that they do not have the expertise & specialities required for such complicated cases) and hence the surgery has to be done at Medanta Medicity Gurgaon under the guidance of Dr. A.S. Soin. The cost of this surgery is Rs. 25,40,000 and will increase by another Rs. 5,00,000 if he is diagnosed positive for Hepatatis B as well.
Pranay has to undergo this surgery at the earliest as his health is deteriorating with every passing day. In fact, the doctors have said that his life can only be saved if the liver transplant is done within next 30-40 days. But, even if we put all our savings together, it is just too minimal for this treatment and hence I need financial assistance to meet the expenses of the surgery.
If you wish to contribute or have any relevant contacts that will help me in this regard, please let me know. Your generous contribution may be big or small will be of great help in saving my brother's life.

I think we all should stand by Jyoti and help Pranay to fight his liver problem. Arranging 25,00,000 to 30,00,000 for a liver transplant surgery is a Herculean task. We are collecting funds from our classes too.
   
Lets us all come together to support and wish them a healthy future.
