The Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) is a scheme that provides financial assistance to the poorest of the poor who are in distress due to reasons such as health problems, loss of life or property, natural calamities, accidents, etc. The CMRF is administered by the Government of Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao.
To apply for CMRF, the applicants need to fill and submit an application form along with the required documents. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of CMRF or obtained from the office of the District Collector or Revenue Divisional Officer. The application form is also available in PDF format.
The application form consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A contains the personal details of the applicant, such as name, address, phone number, Aadhaar number, bank account details, etc. Part B contains the details of the distress situation and the amount of assistance requested. The applicant also needs to attach a self-declaration stating that he/she has not received any assistance from any other source for the same purpose.

The applicant can submit the application form and the documents either in person or by post to the office of the District Collector or Revenue Divisional Officer. The application will be verified and forwarded to the CMRF Cell at BRKR Bhavan, Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad. The CMRF Cell will process the application and sanction the assistance as per the norms and guidelines of CMRF. The assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the applicant.

The CMRF is a noble initiative by the Government of Telangana to help the needy and deserving people in times of distress. The CMRF welcomes donations from individuals, organizations, and institutions who wish to contribute towards this cause. The donations can be made online through [the CMRF website] or by sending a cheque on the name of "CM Relief Fund, Telangana State" to CM Relief Fund, BRKR Bhavan, Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad, 500022. The donations are exempted from income tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
