LEADERSHIP POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The YDA Labor Caucus needs a REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE for each of YDA's eight regions. This representative will assist with fundraising, help state chapters host labor outreach events and actions, and help local state chapters build a stronger relationship with the labor movement. This position requires a strong committment and a willingness to travel to states in your region.
YDA Labor Caucus is also looking for a STATE LABOR COORDINATOR for each state.
Regions: The membership of the YDA is divided into eight Regions.

Great Lakes: IL, IN, MI, OH
Midwest: IA, KS, MN, NE, ND, SD, WI
South-central: AR, LA, MS, OK, TX
Southwest: AZ, CO, NV, NM, UT, WY
Pacific: AK, AS, CA, GU, HA, ID, MT, OR, WA

Please join us as we change America by registering and energizing
young voters and standing up for young workers.
I am happy to announce that our guest speakers will include Larry
Smith, Director of Civil Rights of the United Auto Workers and David
Welker from the Teamsters.
FRIDAY at 6 PM
On friday, please attend our 6 pm labor caucus meeting. Welker and
Smith will speak.
FRIDAY at 9:30 pm - support the Minority Caucus
Join the Minority Caucus on Friday, May 30th at 9:30pm for a
fundraising & networking reception at the Hilton Hotel. Local young
dems, elected officials, candidates and young professionals are all
invited. All funds rasied will go towards the Empowerment Fund.
DREAM PANEL SATURDAY at 10:30 am
On Sat. May 31 at 10:30am at the Hilton hotel. Room name TBA. We
will discuss Keeping Dr. Martin Luther King's Dream Alive and hear
from local labor unions and national labor reps Larry Smith (UAW) and
David Welker (Teamsters).
The week-end will offer much, much more, but please mark these down
in your schedule.
