 Dear Youth Coalition on Internet Governance members,

We are extending a call for applications for the ISOC Youth IGF Ambassador Mentorship Track 2023:

🌐🌟📢 This year, the ISOC Youth Ambassadors will be present at Regional IGFs (EuroDIG, etc)  , the Annual IGF, and RightsCon, and they need your help! If you think you can assist them in navigating their first steps in the Internet Governance ecosystem, don't hesitate to apply and become a 2023 ISOC Youth Ambassador MENTOR.

📜 Please, read the Code of Conduct and the Selection criteria carefully:

✅ Availability: This program is a 10-month program; mentors are asked to preferably hold bi-weekly meetings with their mentees (meeting dates, key discussion points, etc., can be documented in a Google doc for monitoring purposes).

✅ Expertise in the field of the respective IGF track, not necessarily youth experts.

✅ Prior experience with attending IGF, engagement in different IG processes is desirable.

✅ Access to the Internet.

✅ Language skills (Conversant in English).

✅ Regional belonging.

✅ Respect of the Code of Conduct.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this opportunity. Is ISOC offering remuneration for mentors, and/or travel support? 10 months of biweekly meetings is a large time commitment. There are subject matter experts who I could refer as mentors who would love to share their knowledge, but I could not ask them to do this if the role is unremunerated. Thanks!
