Events

Early Career Fellowship (ECF) Symposium 2022

The ECF Symposium 2022 will take place online on 29 June from 12-15 UTC.

If you are interested in hearing how our Internet champions of today are shaping the Internet of tomorrow, then this is the forum for you. Whether you are an academic, a professional, a policymaker, a philanthropist, or simply an Internet enthusiast, this could interest you!

The Internet Society “Early Career Fellowship” empowers a new, diverse generation of Internet champions to bridge the gap between technology and policy and advocate for an open, globally-connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet.

APNIC, APSIG & APrIGF - Registration opens

APNIC is pleased to announce that registration is open now for APNIC 54, APrIGF 2022, and APSIG 2022  held from 8 to 15 September at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore. The event is being held in both a face-to-face and online format. This is the first time in two years that APNIC is holding a face-to-face event, and is very pleased to hold it jointly with both APrIGF and APSIG. This is a great opportunity to participate in not just one, but three conferences in one location, and access technical and Internet governance content. The draft program is available, but stay tuned to the conference website for updates.

Registration for the 11th African IGF is open

 

The 11th Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF-2022) will be held in a hybrid format from the 19th to 21st of July 2022 in Bingu International Conference Center, Lilongwe, Malawi.

NextGen@ICANN - Call for Applications

The applications for NextGen@ICANN for ICANN75 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are still open until 1 July 2022. 18-30 years old - students currently living and studying in the region of the respective ICANN meeting.

The 2022 call for proposals for the LACNIC’s Leaders 2.0 Program has been opened.

The Open Internet for Democracy Leaders is a unique cohort of global advocates from civic organizations, media, and the private sector who are passionate about protecting and promoting an open internet. The program aims to:
