YouthLACIGF 2021: Registration is open!

Dear YCIG Community,

I am happy to share with you that the registration is open for the #YouthLACIGF2021 online. The YouthLACIGF is an initiative born from the growing community of Latin American youth interested in issues related to the Internet. Given the active role that the youth have started taking, this space was created with multi-sectoral characteristics, as a forum for debate of new ideas and perspectives to encourage the creation of lines of discussion that will be taken to other forums.

Given the ongoing situation with the slow vaccination process and the travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 6th YouthLACIGF is going to be an online conference. The event will take place online, on October 9-10 (UTC-3) in four languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

The thematic areas of this year are:

*Gender, Racism and New Technologies

*Future of Internet Governance

*Remote work and education.

The event will also feature the selected YouthLACIGF Ambassadors 2021, who successfully completed the Open Course, in Spanish.
