Hello everyone,

i had a simple idea: to (briefly) summarize the activites and experiences of youth engagement in the
IGF process in 2011 as an annual review and provide an outlook for 2012 for the YCIG blog.

Being involved in the European perspective and dialogue, i can provide that perspective also, yet, it would
be great to provide the full global picture. Therefore i need your expertise and set up a pad to collect
important points you think that are worth to mention in the blogpost:

I would be happy when you could take up to 15 minutes to put some lines in there, preferably with some links when you have.
Tuesday evening, i am planning to write the first version, just for your timewise planning on your input (when you wish).

Of course, when you are interested in writing together with me, let me know :-)
Preferably the posting can be send by the end of upcoming week.

Looking forward to your comments and enjoy a nice sunday,
Thanks & all the best, Nadine

Hi Nadine,

I was trying to access the etherpad but my connectivity is so slow to load the page this afternoon.

I want to make a quick input with regards to the Ghana IGF held in March, where we relayed youth perspectives concerning access, online identity, security and safety, role of mobile operators, social networks, etc. You can find summaries of the discussions at my blog post and also at my GhanaBlogging colleague Kajsa's blog. The final communique of the Ghana IGF can be downloaded from the WAIGF website.

You might also be interested in the following scenarios of youth involvement in IG coming up from the USA IGF:

I hope you would find the info provided useful. Do let us know how it goes.

BR,

Gameli
