Ever wonder when and how you should start saving for retirement? Do your insurance choices baffle you? Wondering what to do about debt? Join the YCC as we host a financial planning seminar which will answer these questions and more.

Speaking Simply: Communicating Your Science Webinar

YCC will be hosting a national webinar in two locations about communicating your scientific work with others. Douglas Dollemore & Darcy Gentleman of the ACS Office of Public Affairs will be the presenters.

Chem Expo at Liberty Science Center
October 18, 10am-2pm, Liberty Science Center, Jersey City
Join the YCC for a fun day of hands-on science demonstrations for children at the Liberty Science Center. This year's theme is The Sweet Side of Chemistry—Candy. Volunteers may sign up to help from 10-12, 12-2 or all day and can visit the LSC exhibits after the ChemExpo.
