Speaking Simply: Communicating Your Science Webinar

YCC will be hosting a national webinar in two locations about communicating your scientific work with others. Douglas Dollemore & Darcy Gentleman of the ACS Office of Public Affairs will be the presenters.

Refreshments will be provided.

Younger Chemist Committee at the NJ Young Professionals Multi-Group Mixer

The Multi-Group Mixer is an extraordinary event that combines both business and social networking. Scheduled for Oct 14th at the spectacular Hamilton Park Hotel in Florham Park, NJ, 300-400 Professionals from a variety of groups/organizations will attend this 18th bi-annual event.

Chem Expo at Liberty Science Center

October 18, 10am-2pm, Liberty Science Center, Jersey City

Join the YCC for a fun day of hands-on science demonstrations for children at the Liberty Science Center. This year's theme is The Sweet Side of Chemistry—Candy. Volunteers may sign up to help from 10-12, 12-2 or all day and can visit the LSC exhibits after the ChemExpo.
