Met at 7pm at SoCo because Aerin Ayers (beloved CY bartender) was working, but we had a different server that proved sufficient. Michael Hill said SoCo sounded like yesterday's leftovers. They do have meat loaf.

Jamie, Tanner, Michael, Justin, Wilbur, Medlin, Sabo
Andy Davis abruptly quit the club on Dec 12th. Per member value of $2,515 at meeting on 12/20/2023.
Stock committee: Hold current $2,800 to pay Andy Davis next month, so as to maintain the $500 min bank balance.
Taxes: waiting on 1099 from brokerage. Wilbur to ask "Ken Adams", the agency that bought out our previous accountant, Chris Farris.
New Business:
-Discussed how to increase participation and membership, including fines for missed meetings and large fines for not attending a minimum of 6 meetings annually (WYCIA charges $100).
-Wilbur mentioned the few active members could possibly join York Investment Association, who are rapidly losing members to death and disease.
-Tanner mentioned changing bylaws to allow women, particularly our wives. Justin had previously shown support, and surprisingly, Michael Hill seemed optimistic about such a change. Some others were noticeably quiet. After searching current bylaws, it appears women are not currently prohibited and no change is needed, other than a change of heart.
-Postponed any actions regarding new business to February meeting.
