Missionary Cenacle Volunteers is seeking volunteers (men and women, young and old, single and married) to serve at Trinita's Family Life Development Program in Hartford, Connecticut this summer. Trinita is a camp-like setting of 123 acres in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. The summer program serves inner-city families who come for a week-long stay. Each week is structured with faith, fun and family activities. Volunteers are needed to assist in every aspect of the program. A typical day at Trinita includes family sharing time, peer group time, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and more! The community at Trinita is very diverse, and many of the families are bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. New volunteers must participate in the Orientation Week beginning June 24. Family groups begin arriving Saturday, June 30 and follow for 6 consecutive weeks, ending August 11. Volunteers serve a minimum of one week beyond Orientation, and many choose to serve for the whole summer! Learn more and apply online at www.mcv3.org.
