Prayer pointers : Praying for the children in your house, family, relatives, locality and  Church

Dear Lord Jesus,

Our children are being brought up in a very different and more dangerous situation than ours.  

Lord, They're almost made to believe the world is full of sin and it's a part of life.

Many simply believe, they must learn to live with it.

Lord, the movies they watch, the ads they come across, the friends' chit chat - everything is unholy and  seem to blind their eyes. 

Many don't have the knowledge of the Holy God who hates sin but loves the little children.

Lord, we've neglected our children. Even when we minister, mostly grown ups are focused, and the future(kids) is neglected.

We busy parents mostly neglect them and they are left to long for love - making easy room for devil.

Dear Lord please help us fulfill our duties as parents and bring them up in the nourishment of Your Word. 

They're vulnerable of danger at any moment and by anybody.

Dangers await in the form of strangers, online anonymous friends sometimes even their close friends.

Lord, the foreign cultures like sleepovers and dating, slowly creep in and spoil our children. 

Internet is at their finger tips and Satan is trying to push in even through the slightest way possible.

We beg at Your throne for Your mercy for our children and every child we come across.

Protect them from every abuse and every possible trap for sin.

Also, please make the teachers and the schools train them in Your way and not the worldly way.

Loving Lord, May the laws of the land, not tie the hands of the parents and teachers from disciplining and training the children in the right way.

We submit and entrust each of the children in Your loving Mighty hands,

Doda, which falls in the Jammu region, has witnessed heavy rainfall this monsoon.

Last week too, heavy rainfall was reported in Doda district. Earlier this week, landslides due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district had forced the authorities to temporarily suspend traffic on the arterial Jammu-Srinagar national highway that connects Jammu and the Kashmir valley.

Heavy rainfall has led to flash floods and landslides in many parts of the country including Assam, Manipur and Odisha.

In April, the Jhelum river in the state started flowing above the danger mark forcing the administration to issue a flood alert in the Valley.
