Hi all,
Can anyone suggest a textbook or online source where I can brush up on
Monte Carlo simulation, particularly looking at a business situation and
grasping how to structure scenarios and output. I've read Prof.
Eckstein's cases and can grasp how those are formulated and run. But I
think I need some basic exercises.

Reason: one of the hot buttons in consumer goods these days is 'shopper
marketing' which is full of tools that have probabilities of success
associated with them. It's wide-open space for simulation from what I
can see.

Thanks for any suggestions.

@Risk has plenty of online examples. A gazillion books could fit your need, eg Making Hard Decisions (by Clemen and Reilly) or Palisades Financial model using simulation and optimisation.

Thank you Mark. I'll check those sources out.
