My name is Garrett Minniti. I was a "new kid" in 2000, but only was
able to participate through the new kid show. I was attending UCLA at
the time, but ended up leaving school to tour with a tap dance
company.

For the past 2 years I have been living and working in New York, where
I started my company, In It For Life Productions. In It For Life has
produced 3 Off-Broadway choreography showcases in the past year,
including an all tap dance show created and choreographed by Chris
Scott from Bring In Da Noise Bring In Da Funk. We are set to produce
3 more showcases in the next year.

In It For Life is producing it's first dance convention/workshop next
week in Irvine, CA. I am writing to invite any YA students or alumni
to attend! This is my first dance event that I am producing, and
unfortunately I have not had the registration that I had hoped for. I
have an amazing group of faculty and guest teachers including Malaya,
Chris Dupre, Tina D'Amato-Sidoni, and Djuan Watts. I am also flying
out 3 teachers from New York; Jason Marquette from Broadway Dance
Center, Tom Richardson from STEPS on Broadway, and my choreography
partner Ahkai Franklin from Sybarite Productions. The workshop is
going down whether I have 2 students or 20. Even though I am more
then likely going to lose money on this project, I would prefer to
have as many students as possible, even if they can't afford the full
tuition. The full 4-day tuition is $389, or $100 per day, or $30 per
class. Of course I would prefer if students could pay the full
tuition, but I don't want not being able to pay to be the reason for
not attending. I would rather students come for free then not come at
all, and they can give me what they are able to afford. The classes
will be at an intermediate-advanced level, but anyone is encouraged to
attend, all Jazz and Hip Hop classes.

I am copying all the workshop information below, as well as the link
to my internet commercial which pretty much sums up what my company
and workshop is about. I would really appreciate you helping me get
the word out to any YA that might be interested in participating in
the workshop.

I hope that this finds you well! Thank you for your time, and your
support!

Sincerely,
Garrett Minniti
