What are you doing now?

Well, as the group moderator, I'll start...

As I mentioned in my profile, I was a member of the YAs from 1998-2005
fortunate to go on 11 outreach tours - 6 national and 5
international. I continue to help them with various projects
including re-designing their official website and marketing.

I am engaged to another former member of the group, Dalisa Szymborski
(NK '00), due to get married this June. We've been together for 5 1/2
years and we are really looking forward to our wedding in a few
months!

I now work for the Orange County Performing Artscenter in their
Education Dept. The Center offers many family and youth programs, both
onsite and in the community. I help produce, manage, run, etc. all of
the onsite programs. Some of you may be familiar with one of them -
Summer at the Center - as Bill & Robyn Brawley have been the directors
for several years now and they often ask YA alumni to help teach. I've
been at the Center for 2 1/2 years now since I left the YAs.

I also work a second job at a hotel reservations center in the
evenings and on weekends, to help pay for the wedding and life in
general. They manage and operate 20 hotels around the southwest U.S.
Not a glorious job, but it's easy extra money and I can work on things
like this website and alumni searching in between phone calls.

This is great, thanks Mike! I was a new kid I think in 90? I have to
say I have never been more proud of the group than I am today. I saw
the Christmas Show and was just blown away...have had the privilege of
watching rehearsals for the YA/Les Miserables Convention Show for
Tarbell and have just been SO touched, really it's been an honor. The
group has never been more powerful and life changing for all!
