For all of the many details to come together For unity among the churches and organizations involved For the people of Baltimore to attend and be our Guests of Honor For those who attend to see Christ in action and be blessed For the resources needed to serve our Guests to be available How do I volunteer? We are looking for over 1,000 volunteers for the Baltimore Convoy of Hope! If you are interested in volunteering, it's easy to sign up! Go to www.ConvoyBaltimore.org and enter your information.		Welcome to the Baltimore Convoy of Hope update E mail!   ONLY 9 DAYS! We are closing in fast to June 6th where we have the opportunity to serve thousands of people! STAY UP TO DATE with details and info by reading all our E mails and checking out the home page of ConvoyBaltimore.org 50,000 Fliers Need a Home! We have 50,000 fliers that need to be passed out THIS Saturday May 30th. If you would like to pass out fliers, meet Pastor Ron at Lake Clifton High School this Saturday between 1PM and 3PM. When you arrive on campus, turn right and look for the silver Honda Civic.   Don't Miss the Volunteer Rally! You don't want to miss the Baltimore Convoy of Hope Volunteer Rally at Mt. Pleasant church on Friday June 5th, 8PM - 9:30PM. We will pray, worship and be inspired to serve the next day at this great outreach. In addition, last minute instructions will be shared and EVERY volunteer will receive their Convoy of Hope tee shirt. All volunteers are highly encouraged to attend.   Please Consider How You Can Give As you can imagine serving 10,000 people in an event like takes finances. Our current budget is $130,000. This figure is after we've received generous discounts and donations from various companies and organizations. We are asking that each volunteer prayerfully consider what he or she can do to help off set our expenses. This will help us serve our guests the 80,000 lbs of groceries, free health services, hair cuts, family portraits, kids carnival, job fair, community services fair, lunch and so much more!  I Volunteered! So now what?! For those of you who have signed up to volunteer on June 6th, THANK YOU! Here's what you can do now:   1. PRAY PRAY PRAY - See the prayer points in this E mail. 2. Spread the word - Let others know about this great outreach! 3. Attend the Volunteer Rally on June 5th,     8PM at Mt. Pleasant Church. 4. Arrive at Clifton Park on June 6th, 7AM ready for a full day of serving! Please plan on staying until about 6PM. Our goal is to allow our guests to park closest to Clifton Park. We're asking ALL volunteers to please make plans to CARPOOL in small or large groups to make parking for accessible for all. DETAILS ABOUT PARKING WILL BE COMING SOON. - Children under 18 are welcome to volunteer, but must remain with a parent/guardian for the duration of the day.
