Hi, Everyone!
I hope this e-mail finds you all enjoying the last week or so of your summer!
The prior events I've organized throughout the spring and summer have led to me joining leadership in the Young Adult Reformed Fellowship (YARF) and continuing to organize events for this group. What's YARF? It's a confederation of church groups throughout the greater Baltimore area that come together to have fun, form small groups, meet new people, and engage in service activities. We'll do a few events throughout the year, alternating between social and service activities. All you have to do is show up, make new friends, and help people in need. To get an idea of how YARF is used to connect people in Baltimore, go to http://www.eyarf.org/
Anyway, to kick off the fall we're going to do a scavenger hunt in the inner harbor on Saturday, September 25 at 1PM! If you plan on coming, please let me know. We will meet in Federal Hill Park off of Key Highway. Of course, you are free to invite anyone you wish! If you're currently involved in leadership with another young adult group, feel free to invite your whole group. This is a great way for people to meet new friends and really work together to find the clues and solve the mystery. What mystery?
