Hi,

I am looking into YapDatabase but I would like to get more information about before I decide to jump ship.

I have apps which are designed with Core Data. How to migrate existing Core Data model (and data) to YapDatabase? Is there any examples?

Perhaps I have not exhausted my search on the web. Kindly enlighten me.

Thank you.
Adrian

You'll need to handle the migration yourself but it's not too bad, simply iterate over every object and copy the properties to your new model object. We use our own BRCYapDatabaseObjectProtocol helper protocol with a subclass of MTLModel, which might be helpful for you. If your app can remain usable while the data is migrating in the background that would be ideal.
