The Award/ Scholarship: General guidelines

50 scholarships will be provided to the youth—25 from Myanmar and 25 from Asia Pacific Region. This will include travel, board and lodging, transportation and other related expenses.
The conference will provide the awardees with economy air travel, registration fee and allowance for accommodation and lodging

Guidelines for the Youth Scholarship selection

At least three candidates from the member countries are invited to submit the application form and to write 1-2 pages essay describing the importance of APCRSHR to the youth and how they will use the lessons obtained from the conference for the youth’s SRHR in their respective countries.
The application form and essay must be sent to 8th APCRSHR Secretariat by 8apcrsh...@gmail.com before 31st August 2015.
After the receipt of the application forms and essays from youths, the 8th APCRSHR Scholarship Committee will select the best essays.
The youth scholars will be informed three months prior to the conference date (October 2015).

Criteria for Selecting the Youth Scholar

The youth should be between the ages of 15 to 24.
Has a significant contribution or involvement in youth programmes and relevant SRH activities in his/her country.
Has leadership quality and capacity.
His/her essay about SRH and APCRSHR is rated highly by the Scholarship Committee.
