This is where the book comes in handy. A clear introduction to linear algebra that doesn't try to tackle everything at once is what makes this so useful. You'll find yourself skimming through a chapter or two before getting to the really important ideas and quickly understand what the author is trying to convey. The main strength of the book as far as I can see is in the exercises Strang offers for you to work through. You can simply do the problems found in the text and then go back and do them in their correct context using the solutions found there.
The one thing I found the most useful about the text was the fact that it was available in an electronic format. The e-book itself is relatively small, only needing a few pages to cover it. However, it's packed full of really great information, which makes it worth the price. The topics are well presented and easy to follow. If you're a beginner to linear algebra, I would definitely recommend taking a look at Introduction to Linear Algebra by Strang.
