Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

I was looking into the possibility of storing corrupted telemetry somewhere in Yamcs similar to when we store command history. The idea is if a telemetry packet is short for example, instead of dropping the packet, I would like to save it and store the packet data, maybe in binary, with the reason why it would have been dropped, somewhere accessible whenever needed.

What do you think is the best way forward to achieve this?

Best Regards,
SM

Please have a look at this:
https://docs.yamcs.org/yamcs-server-manual/links/

You can configure the packet to go to a different stream using the DIVERT action. Then you can record that stream to a table.
