Extenion point of yamcs to sent ssdv-packets

Dear all

We would like to send image data in ssdv-packets up to our satellite preferrably using yamcs. The image data is available as files, i.e. the idea would be  to open the file and than  to upload the data in TC-frames. 

Does yamcs supports this in any way? Are there extension points in yamcs that would facilitate an integration of a file reader?
