I just posted a repository on github that uses YAMCS.  Its at http://www.github.com/bitblit11/Sage.  Currently, its just YAMCS with a simple UDP TM and TC provider, predefined telemetry and command definitions, and prebuilt displays and scripts for a simple instantiation of NASA's Core Flight Software (http://opensource.gsfc.nasa.gov/projects/cfe/index.php).  I'll add in my plugins later.

I moved it to http://www.github.com/windhoverlabs/sage. It's part of a larger project at http://www.github.com/windhoverlabs/ardronecfs, but it will be a couple weeks before I have everything posted. I'm still playing with the YAMCS deployment scripts. I currently have it setup to deploy locally rather than install system wide in an /opt or /usr/local directory. That's because I intend to use YAMCS primarily during flight software development, possibly in parallel with multiple developers. So I view it as just another development tool like Eclipse CDT. Though I would like to convert my web client system to use YAMCS on the backend so I can use it for testing and operations too.

Once I can load YAMCS as a plugin, I have my own plugins including a live video display with heads up display overlay, and gamepad controls for manual flight.

I would also like to use YAMCS on a couple other projects. I'll post those when I know more.

hey, that’s pretty cool to see. Thanks for the report, and glad Yamcs is working out for you

No, thank you.  I just wish I knew about YAMCS a long time ago.  My system was progressing but I wasn't even close to something that I could package and deploy.  YAMCS is a perfect fit.  I hope your project benefits my using it.
