Yamcs Studio Setup and deployment

I was able to run yamcs server successfully. Also ran the test script and checked dummy telemetry and telecommand. Now I want to move further and create a custom frontend for our future satellite mission.

How do I exactly setup yamcs studio on my local machine. I want to experiment with it and create a custom telemetry + telecommand dashboard for our space mission. I saw the development notes, I am supposed to clone the repo, make sure eclipse is installed in my system and then build the file?

I have never used Eclipse before and am fairly new to this, please tell me exact steps to do this and start building a custom dashboard.

Also, once Im done with the editing, how do I save it and deploy as production variant to the end user? Please help!

There are builds available on the GitHub release page for Yamcs Studio:

https://github.com/yamcs/yamcs-studio/releases

You don't need to know anything about Eclipse. That's the development framework, and does not impact you as a user.
