TX816 patches can be recreated with software. Is it as good as hardware?

My personal tase: The Dexed is a good try but I don't like it. The PX7 recreate Factory Preset 6 pretty good sound wise but I lack some depth and the gigantic dynamic of the hardware TX816. But I could use it with my laptop when travel light. Do you agree?
