Hi All,

I will receive final call from the dealer(white plains, NY) and Jacobs
music tomorrow, then we can decide which dealer we can work with, other
options include other brand or wait (one of main reason Yamaha's price goes
up is because Yen's appreciation, right now we see yen is topped and starts
going down).

Thanks.

David

I am in a business trip outside of US now, will return next week.

the price is not good enough(similar as what I told before), some group
people already sent me email directly to back out of the purchase.

Some people's bottom line is $5000, some is $5300...

I do not know what to do now - Should we wait for the price going down and
buy in the future(wait Yen under appreciation)?

Thanks, what is the price now? Maybe we can check how many people are willing to pay with it.

As I remember, David mentioned about $5700 for U1 group.  I am wondering how many people agree with this price and would like to buy it now.

Thanks

I think that is a good price if shipping is included. Don't bet on exchange rates, I'll buy because I need to. Please response if interested.

I'd buy at this level as well because our old one just couldn't hold up any more.

Hi David,

I am actually not in urgent need of a piano, so I could wait and see
till Yen drops. If there is enough people postponing the purchase,
I'd join them on the wait list. If most wish to proceed and buy now,
please consider me opt-out.

Thank you for all the efforts you and everyone has invested so far.

Best regards

Jessica (FirstChild)

Anyone interested in Kawai K3? It's having a promotion in March with $100 manufacturer rebate.

I am interested but are those made in Japan? A friend bought a K2 in October but it was made in Indonesia, she has been experiencing problems with it (sticking keys, the wood board at the bottom changed in shape). I read on the Kawai site that if the serial numbers start with F or A, they are not made in Japan.
