Dear Johan,

first of all, thanks a lot for your valuable work! I was trying to use sos2 constraints for my optimization problem about the optimal positioning of valves in water grids..
I have a milp and I use cplex 12.0. I get the message: solver not applicable (cplex). So I tjust copied and paste the example posted on wiki about sos2 constraints, but I get the same error message. Might you explain what I do wrong?

Thank you!

Do you really have IBMs native MATLAB interface installed?

which cplexmilp -all

...and I presume you are using the most recent version of YALMIP

BTW, you are using an old version of CPLEX with known bugs. You should update.

Ah, thank you! I am using the most recent version of yalmip.I am using mex interface (cplexw64), so cplexmilp is not called. Do you have any further suggestion about this? Is it only a matter of update cplex from the ibm website (where I will get the proper interface from)?

Thank you,

What interface is that? Do you mean cplexint? YALMIP cannot interface any file called cplexw64.

YALMIPs interface to cplexint is obsolete and should not be used. I will not update it. However, since you have cplex 12, you should have all the required matlab interfaces in your installation, you probably just have to add it to your path
