why my optimization can't find the best result?

Dear Prof. Johan Löfberg ,

I am trying an easy problem. however, I don't know why my optimization can't find the best result?

whatever I set the value of the variable "distance", the result seems to be not change.

I will be appicated if you could help me.

you probably don't want x and y to be symmetric, as you have now
