Milonga Azul - *not* April fools

This week welcomes back Milonga Azul - come dance with us Saturday March 31 at the beautiful Harkness Ballroom to the sounds of Robin Thomas' DJing!  Hope to see you there!  Also be sure to check out the two workshops Robin is teaching during the day - more information below. :)  ~Happy dancing~

Milonga: March 31-April 1  (Harkness Hall, 367 Cedar St, New Haven)

Saturday:  Milonga Azul is back with DJ Robin Thomas of New York City.  

Milonga beginning at 9pm.  At 8pm Robin will teach a pre-milonga class (only $5)

 

Sunday will feature the standard free brunch practica from 1pm to 4pm.  Coffee and bagels will be offered, and bring anything else you would like to share!  

Workshops: March 31   (Harkness Hall, 367 Cedar St, New Haven)

Robin Thomas will also be teaching two 90-minute workshops on Saturday before the milonga.  

2pm - warm-up and registration 
2:20pm - (intermediate) Dancing Milonga like a milonguero/a by Robin Thomas

4:00pm - warm-up and registration
4:20pm - (Int/Adv) "Amplifying the intention of the lead" - Building technique for becoming a clear leader and a "high performance" follower.

Workshop pricing:
1 workshop: $25 ($20 w/ student ID)
2 workshops: $40 ($30 w/ student ID)
