Theresa Thylin & Ariel Iud Quartet Performance
10-11pm, No Cover
Caffe Vivaldi, 32 Jones Street, New York 10014
Ariel Iud, Argentinian bandoneonist and composer, presents his newly released album. This concert offers both new original compositions as well as a few old tunes arranged with a modern tango style. With the participation of the singer Theresia Thylin, Ariel Iud Quartet explores the peculiar Argentinian-Swedish musical connection that dates back to the Golden Era of Tango during the early 20th century. The musicians take the audience on a journey of contemporary tango with some rock, folk and jazz influences that brings the music closer to the non specialized audience.
