Hey guys,

My tailwheel was overhauled by Scott two years ago and has worked
flawlessly. But it just started shimmying and I found it doesn't lock
centered anymore. So I went in search of Scott 3400 parts.

Here's where I found you can still get parts for a 3400 tailwheel at
reasonable prices.

Anyone out there have a good cost on start to finish install of the
Dynon EFIS D10A?

Unit cost on their website is $2200. Is this the street price?
Plus what is the typical install? Who did your install also?

We have long since lost our attitude indicator and I have seen the
install in a few planes out there. Just wondering the total cost?

Herb

I may be interested in one too. We may be able to get a group price on the units.

Ira.

I have one, self install...

You will need the remote compass as well, as our panels are too ferris <sp>
for the compass to work correctly in the panel. The installation of the
Dynon, if memory serves... About 1 hour, the wiring was the time - ie,
finding power and routing the cable to the tail for the remote compass..

The remote compass, I mounted mine in the tail, just forward of the access
door under the horz stab. Just fabricated a aluminum base across two of the
ribs, and done.. I will add some pics if I can find them.

VERY please with the Dynon.. I do not do hard core acro like you Herb, but
friends tell me it does a good job of "catching back up" after a minute of
level flight after you have tumbled a few times..

Ask away, I am sure I am forgetting something..
