they can only be used with the inf tags like:

It would be pretty easy to change the format yahsmosis uses packetwise
with replacement text to make them work instead of the YA/avatar.gif
format.

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't notice the thread in the

I'm not having an issue with Avatars here; I was able to use the
Options>Avatars window to select "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!pixie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@yz" and set it as my avatar, and afterwards be able to send posts
with the avatar.

Please note that only INF-based avatars are supported. (Yahoo!
Messenger Display Images are something else, entirely)

Sending avatars should be easy by selecting an avatar in the
Options>Avatars window and hitting "Set as my Avatar", your next post
should contain your avatar - assuming the View>Avatars and Options>INF
Tags>Send Default INF options are enabled (default).

Furthermore, Yahsmosis should be able to handle avatars in either
format: LIB\avatarname or avatarname@LIB. AVA:LIB\avatarname is the
default though for sent INF.

However, the "YE" now being used by Y!Epic users is new and is not
supported by Yahsmosis 0.7.16.58 and lower. This library has been
added in Build 59.
