(Sorry about the single spammer to find our list I have already turned
moderation back on for nonmembers and 'new' members.)
Last week when I discovered that Y!'s venue of choice allows
searching, unlike L.A.'s that charges, and that it produces a report
detailing attorney names and even more detailed info showing all the
dates of pleadings etc. I spent enough time to find not just the Nixon
firm mentioned but even better firms begging for calls if not just
emails. Holding out myself for a phone call I have not emailed any of
them, but do encourage everyone to spend time on the list, and write
if you can't call.
It's more then a month now. It's getting closer to 90 days from the
first email meaning those of us who have not yet logged in will be at
risk of losing our email and therefore unable to claim that sufficient
notice wasn't given to us.
The point of class action litigation is that individual losses
amounting to even pennies can be litigated with the costs associated
having a punitive effect. Our class is very large, in my belief, and
the damages are even larger, we almost all know that, but the problem
so far is the nature of the class, and it's unknown size.
Apparently we are good victims so far. None of us has sufficiently
taken a principled stand backed up and followed up with litigation-
yet. I am not discouraged by the passage of time in regard to
compensating us. I am however extremely troubled that we have not yet
heard from yahoo regarding our files not being destroyed yet, not how
much longer they will be safe.
I am also astonished to the point of shock that at least one of us has
been retaliated against by having his email shut down and he needs all
of our help as he has helped us more then anyone and should not pay
with even greater losses then his briefcase that was promissed to be
returned to him before they took his inbox as well.
